Recreated and optimized the platform by transitioning from Vue.js and Vuex to Next.js, TypeScript, React Hooks, Firebase, and JSON-based APIs for improved performance, scalability, and web standards compliance. The initial version, built with Vue.js and Vuex, had a performance score of 52% and accessibility of 86%. After the rebuild, the performance was significantly enhanced, achieving a 95% performance score, 100% accessibility (A11Y), 100% best practices, and 100% SEO. Key improvements include optimizing search functionality, cart management, and product retrieval through Next.js API routes. I also integrated animations across the platform to improve user engagement and navigation. Real-time error handling was added, providing immediate feedback for out-of-stock or duplicate products in the cart. Firebase was used for authentication and real-time database services, ensuring smooth account management and data handling. The product catalog was redesigned with advanced filters and detailed product information to improve discoverability. I ensured the platform had a fully responsive design, optimizing the user experience across all devices. Lastly, I utilized React Hooks for efficient state management, ensuring clean and maintainable code.
